Dust storm warnings issued in Illinois amid ‘life-threatening travel' conditions – NBC 5 Chicago

Multiple dust storm warnings have been issued in central Illinois amid “dangerous, life-threatening travel” conditions on multiple interstates.
According to the National Weather Service, the warnings will remain in effect through Monday evening, with near-zero visibility reported on at least three interstate highways in the central portion of the state.

The affected area is largely centered between the cities of Bloomington and Champaign according to the National Weather Service, impacting long stretches of Interstates 72, 74 and 57.
The largest of the warnings covers parts of Piatt, DeWitt, McLean, Champaign and Macon counties, and will remain in effect through 5:15 p.m.
Closer to the Chicago area, a blowing dust advisory is in effect for counties south of Interstate 80, including LaSalle, Kendall, Grundy and Kankakee counties, as well as southern Will County.
