Chris Watson Travel Group has officially reopened Weston Cruise & Travel in Canberra, marking a new era for the agency.
According to the group, the Canberra office offers a contemporary take on the traditional travel agency experience, with the new space the first of the group’s locations to undergo this transformation.
The design prioritises a relaxed atmosphere, featuring a bar area, lounge space and amenities like a drinks station and coffee machines.
Instead of a traditional office setup, behind-the-scenes work will be handled discreetly, while clients will collaborate with travel experts using iPads in a laid-back setting, making trip planning more immersive.
Weston Cruise & Travel, managed by Sonaii Witchard, joined the Chris Watson Travel Group in 2021, continuing a legacy established by Deb Long.
The group says the relaunch reinforces its commitment to combining expertise and innovation.
“This is a proud milestone for our team,” Chris Watson Travel Group Owner Chris Watson said.
“Canberra is leading the way with our fresh new look, setting the standard for future transformations. We’re excited to roll out similar redesigns at our Tamworth location in late 2025 or early 2026.”
