BUFFALO, N.Y. — The early morning snow caused some accidents and traffic delays Thursday morning, making the commute difficult.
Currently, a crash on the I-90WB near Exit 47 in Stafford has closed all lanes.  Traffic is at a standstill for about six miles.
There is also a jackknifed tractor trailer on the I-86EB.  All lanes are closed at Exit 13 (Route 394) to Exit 14 (Route 62) in Ellicott.
Earlier, there was a crash on the inbound 33 near Suffolk.  It did not appear anyone was hurt.
An accident on the I-190SB near Porter Ave around 7 a.m. Thursday forced the closure of the left lane.  That has since been cleared.
Motorists are encouraged to take their time getting to their destination and give themselves room between vehicles.
AAA offered some tips on driving in the snow:
They also offered tips on what NOT to do when there is snow or ice on the ground:
1. Don’t continue at the same speed you would be traveling in clear, dry conditions
2. Do not brake and turn at the same time or be rough with your steering/braking
3. Don’t follow behind other vehicles as closely as you would when driving in clear, dry conditions
