There is queuing traffic on the A467 Forge Road southbound before M4 J28 (Tredegar Park). The travel time is ten minutes according to traffic monitoring service Inrix.
There is heavy traffic on the M4 eastbound into the Brynglas Tunnel before J26 A4051 (Malpas Road).

A much fresher day is expected than of late. Sunny spells will break through the early morning cloud, however scattered showers spreading in from the southwest may be heavy at times. Feeling especially breezy around the coasts. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Showers tending to fade away this evening, with clear spells developing for a time, before a band of rain, perhaps heavy, spreads into the southwest overnight. Cooler in rural spots. Minimum temperature 9 °C."
