Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady cruise ship is set to make its West Coast debut, departing from the Port of Los Angeles on April 7 for a five-night coastal voyage with stops in Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Ensenada, Mexico. The ship, marketed as an adults-only experience, features poolside drinking, cabaret shows, club nights, and other themed events and activities.
The arrival of the Brilliant Lady on the West Coast marks an expansion of Virgin Voyages’ adult-focused cruise offerings, catering to a growing demand for kid-free travel experiences. As a newer player in the cruise industry, Virgin Voyages aims to differentiate itself with unique onboard amenities and itineraries that appeal to a younger, more adventurous demographic.
The Brilliant Lady will depart from the World Cruise Center in the Port of Los Angeles on April 7, kicking off a five-night coastal voyage with stops in Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Ensenada, Mexico, before returning to Los Angeles. Passengers can book excursions including food and wine walking tours, visits to La Jolla’s Seaside Cove and Old Town San Diego, and zip-lining over canyons in Ensenada. Prices for the cruise start at $2,212 per cabin.
