United Airlines and Jet Blue are joining forces to try to make travel a bit easier for those who fly through a program called Blue Sky.
“JetBlue and United…announced Blue Sky: a new and unique collaboration that gives customers of both airlines even more options to find flights that fit their plans as well as new opportunities to earn and use MileagePlus miles and TrueBlue points across both airlines,” a press release asid.
“This collaboration with United is a bold step forward for the industry — one that brings together two customer-focused airlines to deliver more choices for travelers and value across our networks,” Joanna Geraghty, CEO of JetBlue, said in a written statement.

According to a release from Jet Blue and United, here are some of the highlights of Blue Sky:
TrueBlue is Jet Blue’s frequent flyer loyalty program, while MileagePlus is the loyalty program for United Airlines.
Jet Blue has 130 daily flights out of Boston’s Logan International Airport, and United has almost 100 as well.
