WASHINGTON — Commuters may face some delays Friday morning. Two crashes in the area are causing a Traffic Impact Alert.
The first crash is on I-66 eastbound at mile marker 64 near the Capital Beltway. All express lanes were blocked and and the left side was blocked by the crash. It has moved mostly to the shoulder, but one travel lane is still blocked and heavy traffic remains.
The second crash is on I-395, also known as the Southwest Freeway. The northbound ramp to the 3rd Street Tunnel is blocked by the crash.
