LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — President Donald Trump said Tuesday he will visit Nevada soon as part of the first trip of his new term in office.
Trump told reporters he would travel to North Carolina first on Friday, then Los Angeles and Nevada.
"And I'm really going to Nevada to thank them for the vote, 'cause we won Nevada overwhelmingly and that's usually a Democrat vote," he said. "And I just want to go there to thank the people of Nevada for the big- for the big vote."

The White House has not released any details on the visit.
Trump took 50.59% of Nevada's presidential vote in the November election, beating Vice President Kamala Harris by 3.1 percentage points.
He is the first Republican candidate to win the Silver State's presidential election since George W. Bush in 2004.
