Trevolution, a US-based travel company and part of the Dyninno Group, has released its commercial results for the first half of 2025, highlighting evolving consumer travel trends. The company operates globally and is behind travel brands such as ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Oojo, Triplicity, and Dreamport.
The most popular destinations for Trevolution customers, in the first six months of 2025, included the Philippines, India, Italy, Nigeria, the UK, and the US.
Canada stood out for its dramatic rise in popularity, with demand skyrocketing 164% year on year. Mexico and Vietnam also saw strong growth.
Turkey dropped out of the top 10 destinations, while Thailand joined the list with a more than 24% increase in interest. Despite remaining in the top destinations, Italy saw demand fall by 24%.
While the majority of travellers still opted for economy class, business class bookings rose by 32.43% compared with the same period in 2024. Round-trip tickets remained the most popular option, accounting for over 70% of all bookings.
Trevolution’s data shows that travellers are taking shorter trips while booking further in advance. More than 31% of customers planned their travel more than 90 days ahead, while the biggest growth was seen in the 21–30 day booking window, which rose by over 7%.
Younger travellers aged 11 to 30 accounted for a growing number of bookings, reflecting a gradual shift in demographics. However, seniors aged 90 and above continued to dominate, making up more than 30% of Trevolution’s customer base – the largest of any age group.
Alex Weinstein, Founder of Dyninno Group of Companies, commented: “We’re seeing a more deliberate traveller emerge – one who plans earlier, travels slightly shorter but more often, and seeks a balance between value and comfort.”
A study by Go.Compare found that four in 10 UK travellers would reconsider their travel plans if vaccines were required.
