Travel firms are being encouraged by the Abta-led Future Travel Coalition to complete the latest booking trends and industry confidence survey.
The poll provides input to help the 14-strong cross-industry group in its lobbying efforts with government and other decision makers.
The survey examines business confidence levels, booking trends, recruitment, access to finance, and other issues of relevance, including the impact of April’s changes to employer taxation for the UK travel industry.
Abta and the other coalition partners have emailed their respective members with the survey details with a deadline of close of business on June 6.
All responses are anonymous and will be aggregated before any results are shared.
Abta public affairs director Luke Petherbridge said: “Too often our industry is accused of not speaking with a united voice, which is why Abta and 13 other leading industry bodies came together to form the Future Travel Coalition to unite on mutually important issues.
“It’s really important that we are fully informed with the views and concerns of companies represented by the various coalition members.
“Please take the time to complete the FTC’s latest booking trends and industry confidence survey so that we can ensure our lobbying efforts will carry even greater weight in our dealings with important decision makers.”
The Future Travel Coalition is a group of associations, trade bodies and consortiums which represent a large proportion of the UK organised travel market, including leisure and business travel, inbound and outbound operations.
