There are no major travel disruptions this morning on major roads across the North East.
There are no train delays this morning in our region as things stand according to National Rail.
It might have been as hot as Tenerife in the town yesterday but it’s back to reality today with temperatures dropping to 14C.
There is set to be some sun and cloud across the day but this will also come with a chance of rain – with forecasters saying there is a 70% chance of rainfall around 7pm tonight.
Things are looking up for Friday, however, with a day of full sun (albeit older temperatures of 12C forecast by The Met Office currently).
Drivers in Darlington have been told to expect some delays this week, with a series of road closures and lane restrictions in place across the town and surrounding areas.
Motorists are being urged to plan ahead, allow extra time for journeys and follow diversion signs.
