When purchasing a vacation package from an online travel agency, be sure to use a credit card that earns bonus points on travel. The Chase Sapphire Reserve^®, American Express Green Card^®, and Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ Card all earn 3 points per $1 spent at travel agencies.
Hotels.com is a great way to book independent hotels since it participates in a loyalty program called One Key Rewards. It’s a nice way to earn and use points (called OneKeyCash) when you’re not booking through a large loyalty program like World of Hyatt or Marriott Bonvoy.

Hotels.com’s loyalty program is called One Key Rewards, which is the same program used by Expedia and Vrbo.
If you’re in the market for more American Airlines miles, you might be wondering if you can earn them by booking an all-inclusive vacation package through American Airlines Vacations. The answer is yes. To limit your search to all-inclusive resorts, select “All-inclusive resort” under the “Property Types” filter to the left of your search results.
You earn a minimum of 1,000 American miles with any package booked through AA Vacations, but keep an eye out for special deals that come with up to 30,000 bonus miles. You also earn Loyalty Points toward elite status with your purchase.

You’ll only get 1 cent per point in value, and since we value American Airlines miles at 1.4 cents each, it’s not a great deal.
