New Route Offers Speed and Flexibility
The new route between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Key West International Airport (EYW) begins on November 6, with flights operating four times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Starting December 18, Spirit will increase service to daily flights, making it easier for travelers to plan both quick trips and extended stays.
The flight time is just 50 minutes, offering a far more convenient alternative to the usual four-hour drive between the two cities. This new option will be particularly appealing to vacationers looking to avoid road traffic and maximize their time in the Florida Keys.

Seating Choices Cater to All Travelers
Spirit Airlines is offering multiple seating options on this new route, ensuring that passengers can select the experience that fits their preferences and budget.
Big Front Seats offer the most spacious option, with extra legroom, complimentary checked and carry-on bags, priority boarding, reserved overhead bin space, free snacks and beverages, and Wi-Fi access.
Premium Economy Seats provide added comfort through extra legroom or a blocked middle seat, giving travelers more space to relax.
Value Seats offer the airline’s most budget-friendly fares. Travelers pay only for the services they need, with optional extras like seat selection and carry-on luggage available at an added cost.
Special Launch Fares Starting at $79
To celebrate the launch of this new route, Spirit is offering introductory one-way fares starting at $79. These discounted rates are valid for a limited time and are subject to availability.
To qualify, passengers must book by November 19 and purchase tickets at least 21 days in advance of travel. The promotional fares apply to flights operating between November 6 and December 17, with the exception of blackout dates from November 20 to December 2.

The new flight gives travelers quick access to Key West, the southernmost point in the continental United States, famous for its turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and vibrant island culture.
