There are several ways to get travel alerts from us straight to your device. Find out how to subscribe or unsubscribe to emails, push notifications or text messages.
You can subscribe to WSDOT emails through GovDelivery to know before you go. Receive current traffic conditions, mountain pass reports, construction updates and more.
Unsubscribe or add topics through your subscriber preferences – you will be asked to enter your email address first. After you log in, you can remove current subscriptions or delete your account.
To sign up for push notifications, you need to download the WSDOT mobile app. You can find it by searching for “WSDOT” in Google Play or the App Store.
Select the notification bell (in the top-left corner of the screen on iPhone, or in the menu on Android) to find the notification menu. From here you can toggle notifications on and off.
You can stop push notifications at any time by going back to the notifications settings menu in the app. Tap on the toggles to turn them on or off.
We only offer text alerts for Washington State Ferries and Snoqualmie Pass.
Text “START” to the number 85107 on your mobile device.
We’ll send you texts about delays of two hours or longer, planned construction, severe weather warnings and road closures that may impact traffic and travel times.
Sign up for ferries text alerts. Enter your phone number and choose a route you travel frequently or opt in to all alerts.
