Commuters face ongoing disruption during Thursday evening’s rush hour after multiple Tube lines experienced severe delays earlier in the day.
Minor delays remain on both the Central and Victoria line, although earlier issues on the District line and London Overground have been resolved.
Transport for London (TfL) has apologised for the continued disruption.
Meanwhile, there are significant delays on Central London Red Routes. The Rotherhithe Tunnel (A101) remains closed due to a broken-down vehicle, and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.

Commuters are facing delays and cancellations this afternoon due to a signalling fault at Slade Green.
The issue has blocked the line from Dartford towards London Bridge, affecting Southeastern services to London Cannon Street and Thameslink trains between Rainham (Kent) and destinations including Kentish Town, West Hampstead Thameslink, Luton, and Bedford.
Passengers are being warned to expect cancellations, delays of up to 15 minutes, or revised services.
Disruption is expected to continue until at least 6pm. Travellers are advised to check before they travel.
The ramp providing level access between the platforms and the trains is not in service due to staff unavailability.
Step-free access is not available at Maryland station to a faulty lift.
Traffic is slow moving on the A3212 in both directions between King Charles Street and Bridge Street due to borough works.
There are minor delays on the Central line due to an earlier signal failure at Shepherd’s Bush.
There is a good service on all other lines.
Londoners face travel disruption this weekend, with no DLR services between Poplar/Stratford International and Beckton/Woolwich Arsenal on Saturday and Sunday. Replacement buses will run.
The Waterloo & City line remains closed as usual over the weekend.
On London Overground, the Mildmay line faces disruption early Friday morning and no services between Camden Road and Stratford on Saturday. The Suffragette line won’t run between Barking and Barking Riverside on Sunday, while Weaver line trains between Hackney Downs and Chingford stop after 10.45pm Sunday. The Windrush line faces multiple closures on Sunday, with replacement buses operating.
TfL advises checking updates before travelling.
One bit of news for London’s commuters to note is that controversial protesting group Just Stop Oil have announced that it will cease direct action, with a final protest in Parliament Square on April 26.
At least commuters will have one less obstacle to deal with.

Passengers on the Northern Line face severe delays this afternoon following an earlier customer incident.
Transport for London (TfL) confirmed major disruption across the entire line, advising passengers to allow extra time for their journeys.
To help commuters get to their destinations, tickets are currently being accepted on alternative transport, including London Buses, London Trams, Southwestern Railway, Southeastern Railway, Great Northern and Thameslink services via reasonable routes.
TfL has apologised to passengers for the inconvenience and urged commuters to check the latest travel updates before travelling.
Graffiti is “everywhere” on central line carriages, according to one passenger.
