ScotRail have warned customers to be aware of potential delays when travelling in the coming days.
The company says they will be “closely monitoring” the weather after the Met Office issued a series of yellow warnings about rain and thunderstorms.
That poor weather could result in ScotRail delays or even the cancellation of services while speed restrictions are likely to be put in place.
It means some trains could end up running slower than normal and leave passengers rushing to get to their destination.

A statement from ScotRail said: “Over the next few days, many parts of the country are expected to experience torrential downpours and thunderstorms.
“We’ll be closely monitoring the weather, and speed restrictions may need to be put in place. Please keep an eye on our social media feeds and app for the latest updates.”
The warnings from the Met Office say heavy rain and thunderstorms could potentially happen.
The forecaster said there was a slight chance of power cuts and a loss of other services to some homes and businesses as well as flooding and building damage.
It said travel disruption was also likely.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency has 16 flood alerts in place.
Low pressure will linger into early next week keeping conditions unsettled, but there will be sunny spells alongside the heavy showers. These will ease by Wednesday and temperatures will continue to be warm.
