Recap: Travel updates as rush hour traffic builds across Cork – Cork Beo

Traffic was heavy across many major commuter routes in Cork ahead of rush hour this evening.
Things were slowed to a snail's pace on the Dunkettle earlier today following a multi-vehicle collision in the Jack Lynch Tunnel shortly after 2:30 p.m.
The crash occurred along the Westbound section of the tunnel at approximately 2:15 p.m. this afternoon. The TII initially reported that all westbound and southbound lanes in the tunnel were closed after the crash. However, all lanes have since reopened.
