China Airlines has widened its long-haul network with the introduction of non-stop flights between Taipei and Phoenix. The service has positioned Phoenix as a new entry point for travelers bound for the American Southwest. The route has also offered visitors a faster option, as the direct flight reduces travel time compared to itineraries requiring a connection.

The service has been launched using the A350-900 aircraft. This aircraft has been assigned to support steady demand on the route, which recorded full occupancy on its inaugural departure. Phoenix has become the airline’s seventh hub in North America and the first location it serves in the Southwest region.
