Oregon hotel named one of the best in the world by Travel + Leisure readers

An Oregon establishment has earned a spot as one of the top 500 hotels in the world, according to a Travel + Leisure survey. The media company’s “World’s Best Awards” survey reflects readers’ choices, including in the category of hotels.

As the introduction in Travel + Leisure says, hotels on the list stood out because of such qualities as “an extraordinary setting”; “design that feels both unexpected and of-the-moment”; and “service that goes above and beyond.”

The 2025 “World’s Best Awards” for hotels includes such United States standbys as Four Seasons hotels in cities including Chicago, Boston and San Francisco; Waldorf Astoria hotels in such cities as Beverly Hills and Las Vegas; and Ritz-Carlton hotels in Fort Lauderdale, among other locations.

The sole Oregon selection in the Travel + Leisure list is an Oregon coast favorite, the Stephanie Inn, in Cannon Beach.

This isn’t the first time Travel + Leisure has heaped praise on the Cannon Beach getaway. Last year, for example, the Stephanie Inn was the only Pacific Northwest property to earn a spot on the Travel + Leisure list of “15 Best Beach Resorts in the U.S.”
