No travel advisory issued for southeast MN for winter weather – WEAU

MINNESOTA, Wis. (WEAU) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation issued a no travel advisory on state and federal highways in southeast Minnesota because of the ongoing winter storm.
The MN DOT issued the advisory around 1:30 p.m., saying snow and wind conditions were making travel dangerous.
The no travel advisory is set for the 11 counties in southeast Minnesota which includes Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha and Winona County.
The DOT said tow truck responses are also not advised until conditions improve.
