As part of Travel+Leisure’s annual “World’s Best Awards,” almost 180,000 of the magazine’s readers voted on the best properties in 2025. This included a category specific to Texas resort hotels, which were rated on rooms/facilities, location, service, food and value.
“Our top five resorts in Texas are all scenic sanctuaries in or nearby the state’s biggest cities, offering an abundance of activities for visitors looking for relaxation and recreation,” Travel+Leisure’s list reads. “Voters opted for sprawling waterparks, massive spas, and extensive dining options — proving that everything really is bigger in Texas.”
