Mumbai Rains Live Updates: Heavy rainfall in Mumbai, Maharashtra, has caused widespread disruptions, bringing daily life across the city to a near standstill. Several low-lying areas are experiencing severe waterlogging, leading to traffic chaos and transportation delays.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert for Mumbai and parts of the Konkan region, warning of extremely heavy rainfall over the coming days.
According to official data, at least 21 people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents across the state so far. Among the deceased, two individuals were from Mumbai’s suburban areas, officials confirmed.
