Marylebone train station 'major disruption' and Northern line delays – live updates – London Evening Standard

Passengers travelling between Stevenage and London are facing major disruption today after engineering works overran between Welwyn Garden City and Alexandra Palace.
The disruption is affecting Great Northern services between King’s Lynn, Cambridge, Peterborough and Stevenage and London King’s Cross, as well as services between Welwyn Garden City and Moorgate.
LNER routes between London King’s Cross and destinations including Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds and York are also impacted, along with Thameslink services running between Peterborough, Cambridge and London King’s Cross, extending to Brighton, Three Bridges, Horsham and Sevenoaks.
Trains on this route may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or altered.
Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day, and travellers are advised to check before setting out and allow extra time for their journeys.

Live updates
Approach with caution on the A406 North Circular (southbound) at the M11 junction, where lanes three and four are blocked due to a vehicle collision.
Westbound traffic is slow, with queues stretching back to Waterworks Roundabout.
Lancaster Gate station resumes good service.
No service between Chorleywood and Amersham while TfL fix a points failure at Amersham.
There is a good service on the rest of line.
The Mildmay line is now providing a full service but is still operating with severe delays.
Eastern Avenue East (all directions) at the A12 Colchester Road is subject to various restrictions to allow refurbishment work on the Gallows Corner Flyover.
The flyover and the roundabout, including all approaches, are fully closed while the work is carried out.
All lines between Banbury and Oxford are currently closed while emergency services respond to an incident.
For safety reasons, no trains can pass through the area at this time.
Services between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes, or revised.
Passengers travelling into London can use their tickets on the following alternatives:
Chancery Lane station is closed due to unavailability of station staff.
Tickets are being accepted on London Buses.
Engineering works that have overrun between Welwyn Garden City and Alexandra Palace are blocking some lines.
Services between Stevenage and London may be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes or amended.
Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.
Great Northern services on routes between King’s Lynn, Cambridge, Peterborough and Stevenage and London King’s Cross, as well as between Welwyn Garden City and Moorgate.
LNER services between London King’s Cross and destinations including Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds and York.
Thameslink services between Peterborough, Cambridge and London King’s Cross, extending to Brighton, Three Bridges, Horsham and Sevenoaks.
The Mildmay line is reporting disruption between Stratford and Clapham Junction/Richmond due to a broken down freight train at Willesden Junction.
The rest of the line is experiencing severe delays.
Disruption is set to continue until 7:45am.
