Trains on the lines between Charing Cross and Hayes in Kent face severe delays after a lorry hit a railway bridge.
The railway bridge between Elmers End and Eden Park was hit and the lorry has become wedged at an angle.
National Rail says lines have reopened following the collision, with service gradually returning to normal.

Lines have reopened with Elmers End station also back open.
However, Upper Elmers End Road is still closed due to the earlier incident.
Bridge strikes are not uncommon. Research by Network Rail has found that 32% of HGV drivers admitted to setting off whilst not being aware of the height of their vehicle with 56% not considering low bridges when planning their journey.
After each incident, the bridge in question needs to be examined to ensure its safe, causing significant delays to rail and road users.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters are responding to a road traffic collision on Elmers Road, Beckenham.
“The Brigade was called at 14:17, and crews from Beckhenham, West Norwood, and Lewisham fire stations are at the scene.”
National Rail has said lines have now reopened following the collision. Response staff have assessed the bridge and given the green-light to open lines.
However, expect disruption on the Hayes line services until 16:30.
Tickets are being accepted on London Buses at no extra charge between Lewisham and Hayes.
No injuries have been reported as of yet.
Trains are currently not running between Elmers End and Hayes after a lorry crashed into a railway bridge.
All lines are blocked and bus routes 194, 356 and 358 are on diversion as the incident is being dealt with.
Upper Elmers End Road has also closed both ways between Lloyds Way and The Close.
Some services are diverted to / from Orpington and will not run on the Hayes line.

Trains in south east London are facing major delays after a train hit a railway bridge.
The crash is causing major disruptions between Elmers End and Hayes (Kent) as all lines are blocked.
Trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised, National Rail said.
Disruption is expected until at least 4.30pm
The lorry collided with a bridge between Elmers End and Eden Park. Trains are not able to run over the bridge until it has been inspected, National Rail said.
Response staff are en-route, due on site by 3pm..
Engineering work is taking place between Bedford and Mill Hill Broadway, closing all lines over the weekend.
No trains will run between Bedford and London St Pancras International.
An amended timetable will be in operation, with trains running to and from Bedford instead of London St Pancras International.
Replacement buses will run between Bedford and Hitchin, for alternative trains to and from London.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.
