Commuters travelling through London Marylebone are facing severe delays this Thursday after earlier signalling issues led to the closure of all lines.
According to National Rail, “a fault with the signalling system at London Marylebone means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running through this station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.”
Disruption is expected until at least 6pm today.
Elsewhere, London Overground’s Weaver Line was also rocked by delays after signalling cables were stolen from the Hackney area earlier.
Network Rail has resolved the earlier issue, which also impacted Stansted Express trains, but delays may continue as the backlog eases.
