London travel news LIVE: M25 closed after a truck collided with a bridge – London Evening Standard

A section of the M25 is closed in Kent after a lorry struck a bridge this morning.
Emergency services are on the scene and it is not yet known if there are any injuries.
The M25 clockwise between junction 3 (Swanley) and junction 4 (Orpington) was closed as of 7.20am, while congestion has built up back to junction 2 at the Darenth Interchange.
National Highways has put a full diversion route in place and expects the road to be cleared for re-opening by 8.15am.
Meanwhile, commuters are facing delays on the District line as a signal fault causes problems for thousands of Londoners heading to work.
As of 6.40am, the problem at East Putney was causing severe delays between Parsons Green and Wimbledon, according to TfL.
Strong winds could cause travel disruption later on Monday with 50mph gusts set to hit London in the afternoon amid a Met Office weather warning.

Commuters will face delays on Bakerloo and Northern line Tubes this morning.
The Bakerloo line is facing delays due to train cancellations, meanwhile the Northern line is disrupted due to an earlier points failure at Camden Town.
Trains running between St Pancras and Blackfriars are disrupted due to a signaling fault.
As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed until around 8.00am.
Thameslink peak services between Luton and Orpington, and between Bedford and East Grinstead will be cancelled.
National Rail has advised commuters to allow extra time for journeys to account for the disruption.
