London travel news LIVE: Disruption between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport due to a signalling fault over – Evening Standard

Passengers faced disruption on the line between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport this afternoon as a result of a signalling fault at West Drayton.
All Elizabeth Line, Heathrow Express and Great Western Railway services running between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport were at risk of delays or cancellations, National Rail has said. Disruption was declared over by National Rail shortly before 4pm.
The Bakerloo line faced severe delays between Queen’s Park and Harrow and Wealdstone due to an earlier faulty Network Rail train at Willesden Junction.
No trains are calling at City Thameslink today as a result of a burst water main causing flooding at the station.
Passengers have been advised to travel from Blackfriars, which is a five minute walk away, or Farringdon which is a 12-minute walk.

Disruption on the Elizabeth Line, and Great Western Railway and Heathrow Express trains to and from London Paddington is over, National Rail has said.
All Elizabeth Line, Heathrow Express and Great Western Railway services running between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport were at risk of delays or cancellations, National Rail said earlier.
Disruption was declared over by National Rail shortly before 4pm.
There is currently no service between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, with minor delays on the rest of the line.
This is due to a faulty Network Rail train at Willesden Junction.
There are minor delays on the Metropolitan line between Harrow-On-The-Hill and Aldgate due to a fire alert.
A signalling fault at West Drayton means that some lines are blocked.
Services between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport / Reading may be cancelled or delayed.
Disruption is expected to last until 4pm.
Circle Line: Severe delays anticlockwise as Tfl responds to a points failure at Aldgate East.
District Lone: Minor delays between Earl’s Court and Upminster as Tfl responds to a points failure at Aldgate East.
There is no service on the line between Liverpool Street and Barking due to a points failure at Aldgate East.
Severe delays are reported on the rest of the line.
West Kensington station is currently closed as staff are carrying out a test of the evacuation system, Tfl reports.
Tfl has reported severe delays between Willesden Junction and Richmond / Clapham Junction due to an earlier faulty train.
Thameslink expects engineers from Network Rail to be on site today, to fix any damage caused by a water leak at City Thameslink station.
They will give an anticipated time-scale for when the station can reopen, Network Rail has said.
