Commuters may face a challenging journey to work this morning, with delays on the M25 and closure on two of London’s key transport.
By 8.03am, there are serious delays on the M25 after a “serious collision”.
TfL was also reporting part closure on the Tram between Sandilands and New Addington. Replacement buses are operating in the area until April 18.
The picture is not looking great on the Windrush line either with part suspension between Sydenham and West Croydon, while a faulty train at West Croydon is addressed.

Serious delays continue on three of London’s roads.
A1: Traffic is slow moving on all approaches, Westbound traffic is slow from Wakeley Street. Southbound traffic is slow from beyond Islington Green
A406: Residual delays are easing. Due to a separate incident on the motorway network additional congestion is becoming present in both directions on this section of the north circular road.
Central London Red Routes: Traffic is slow moving eastbound with queues from Scotch Corner.
Warren Street station is closed to a faulty escalator.
Tickets are being accepted on London Buses via any reasonable route.
Caledonian Road station is closed while a faulty communications equipment is fixed.

Due to an earlier collision on the M25 on the J9 junction around 3.30am, there are 30 minute delays and three miles of congestion.
Cars are reportedly queueing in the area.
All lanes are open so traffic should clear soon.
Current works on Islington High Street at the junction of Pentonville Road are causing delays in the area.
Contraflow as well as multiway temporary traffic lights are in operation to facilitate UK Power Network works.

The Piccadilly line, which was reporting minor delays, now resumes good service across its line.
The Tram and Windrush line are still reporting delays.
National Highways reported on early Wednesday morning that M25 in Surrey was closed between J8 #Redhill and J9 #Epsom due to a “serious collision”.
It has now been announced that all lanes are open but there is an estimated 30 minutes delay and three miles of congestion.
The collision happened near the motorway’s J9 intersection, which leads to A243 (Leatherhead). As a result, emergency services are presently working on recovery efforts.
The road remained closed in both directions until about five in the morning after the problem was initially reported at around 3:30.
Duke of Wellington Place underpass in Piccadilly is closed due to maintenance works.
Delays on approach with eastbound traffic on Chertsey Road tailing back beyond Whitton Road Roundabout.
Use an alternative route.
There are currently minor delays between Hyde Park Corner and King’s Cross St Pancreas eastbound only due to an earlier faulty train.
There is a good service on the rest of the line.
