London travel news LIVE: Delays on the Elizabeth and Northern lines – London Evening Standard

Passengers may face delays to their journey on their way to work on Friday morning.
At 9:10, the Elizabeth line was reporting delays between Reading and Maidenhead while Network Rail fix a track fault at Twyford.
While the Central line was reporting severe delays between White City and Ealing Broadway and West Ruislip, and between Leytonstone and Epping and Hainault via Newbury Park due to an earlier signal failure at Holborn.
The Tram is also facing some disruption until the end of July. There is no service between Reeves Corner and East Croydon until July 22 and no service between Arena and Elmers End until July 27 due to planned engineering work.

All lines have reopened following a points failure in the Cheadle Hulme area.
Trains running between Stockport and Wilmslow / Macclesfield may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 10am.
Lancaster Gate station is now providing a good service.
The Northern line is now operating a good service.
An earlier operating incident at Gunnersbury means lines are disrupted.
Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 15 minutes.
Engineering work is taking place on the Blackheath Tunnel, closing all lines between Blackheath and Charlton until the end of the day on Sunday, July 27.
Most trains between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Woolwich Arsenal / Lewisham will be diverted to run via Greenwich, however at peak times some of these trains will be diverted to run via Bexleyheath.
There will be two trains per hour between Blackheath and London Cannon Street. At peak times some additional trains will run between Dartford and London Cannon Street via Bexleyheath.
There are currently severe delays between White City and Ealing Broadway / West Ruislip, and between Leytonstone and Epping / Hainault via Newbury Park due to an earlier signal failure at Holborn.
There is a good service on the rest of the line.
There are temporary signals in place to facilitate works for the Battersea Bridge scheme.
Northbound traffic is slow on approach to the works with tailbacks to Petworth Street
The Northern line is facing minor delays due to an earlier electrical fault at London Bridge.
There is a fault with the signalling system between Warrington Bank Quay and Chester / Crewe. This means all lines between these stations are blocked.
Trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 08:45am.
Avanti West Coast between Glasgow Central / Edinburgh and London Euston
There are minor delays both directions along Gubbins Lane.
In addition there is slow moving traffic on Squirrels Heath Road and Ardleigh Green Road.
