London travel news LIVE: Circle, Metropolitan and District line trains halted sparking rush-hour Tube chaos – London Evening Standard

Londoners are facing delays on their commute to work on Tuesday morning, with suspension on several TfL services.
At 6:55am, the Circle and Hammersmith and City lines lines were suspended due to a points failure at Edgware Road. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses.
Due to the same problem, the District line is part suspended between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road, and the Metropolitan line is part suspended between Baker Street to Aldgate.
The Windrush line is also facing severe delays between Sydenham and Crystal Palace due to a power supply failure in the New Cross Gate area.

Hammersmith and City line is facing severe delays after it suspended its services early hours of Tuesday.
Circle line is no longer suspended but commuters should anticipate severe delays.
Lines have now reopened following a failure of the electricity supply between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace and Norwood Junction.
While service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes, revised or diverted.
London Overground between Highbury & Islington and Crystal Palace / West Croydon
Southern between London Bridge and London Victoria / Norwood Junction / Streatham Hill / Epsom / Caterham / Uckfield / Purley / Littlehampton / Bognor Regis
Thameslink between Bedford and East Grinstead / Three Bridges / Brighton, between Cambridge and Brighton, and also between Peterborough and Horsham
Severe delays between Sydenham and Crystal Palace due to an earlier power supply failure in the New Cross Gate area.
There is a good service on the rest of the Windrush line.
Metropolitan line is part suspended as there’s no service between Baker Street to Aldgate while TfL fix a points failure at Edgware Road.
Tickets are being accepted on London Buses and Lioness Line.
There is a good service on the rest of the line.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.
No service on the Hammersmith and City line while TfL fix a points failure at Edgware Road.

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Southall, closing some lines late on Monday to Wednesday evenings.
As a result, the following trains will not run:
You should travel by earlier services instead.
A fault with the electric third rail between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges means some lines are blocked.
Trains running between Gatwick Airport and Crawley and Haywards Heath may be delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 10:15am.
