Motorists are facing a busy start to the roads in North Staffordshire. As Monday comes around once again, there are reports the A50 and A500 are pretty busy this morning.
And there's congestion on plenty of other routes in and around Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle and the Moorlands today (January 20). Starting off with the A50 and A500 – and it's busy.
On the A50 traffic is said to be 'heavier than normal' on the eastbound stretch through Uttoxeter. It's also busy between Meir Tunnel and Sideway.
Over on the A500 and there's reports of 'very slow traffic' around Hanchurch while, as always, it's busy on the D-road by it's junctions with the M6.

Inrix is reporting a 'traffic problem' on the A50 westbound around Meir. A live map from Google shows traffic is currently back up to Blythe Bridge.
