Our betting expert has three selections from today’s cards – one from the jumps meeting at Lingfield (1.55-4.37pm) and two from the all-weather Flat card at Wolverhampton (4.30-8.30). The day’s other action is at Ayr (1.10-4.55), where there are eight National Hunt races.

Today’s nap of the day, GIPSY NATION, drops back to the minimum trip for the first time in two years after running over distances from six to 10 furlongs.
The five-year-old has been largely uncompetitive, without even a place to his name, but his last two runs hinted at more promise when he used front-running tactics but didn’t quite make it home.
Coming out of stall two, a similar race plan and today’s shorter trip should mean conditions are much more in favour of this gelding by Sioux Nation shedding his maiden tag.
Selection: Gipsy Nation each-way @ 12/1 with Betfair
SWINGING LONDON has had a busy and successful winter all-weather campaign, winning three and placing in five more of his 10 races since October.
On a career-high mark, the seven-year-old travelled beautifully on his most recent outing at Southwell, also over today’s trip, missing out by just half a length in a very competitive finish.
Another win is not out of the question and, with just five rivals to beat here, 7/1 represents great value for a horse in form.
Selection: Swinging London @ 7/1 with Betfair
DOTTIES STAR has followed an unconventional career path to date, starting in National Hunt Flat races and placing twice before an 11-race stint in middle-distance Flat races.
On his return to the National Hunt scene in December, he didn't get involved when sent off at 80/1 on his hurdles debut at Plumpton. However, he returned there six weeks later to win at 25/1, turning over a massive gamble and leaving the beaten 2/7 favourite’s trainer Gary Moore and part-owner Harry Redknapp very ‘red in the face’.
That form is very hard to weigh up and it is likely that the top two in the market will be too good, but Dotties Star certainly looks a good each-way proposition.
Selection: Dotties Star @ 12/1 each-way with Betfair
