Five TfL lines delayed, suspended or closed – London Evening Standard

Commuters may face a challenging journey to work this morning, with delays, suspensions and closure on five TfL lines.
By 6.50am, TfL was reporting severe delays on the Bakerloo line and part suspension on the District line between Upminster and Tower Hill, with minor delays on the rest of the line.
The Hammersmith & City line was also partially suspended between Barking and Liverpool street, with minor delays on the rest of the line. There were also minor delays on the Metropolitan line between Aldgate and Baker Street
The picture is not looking great on the Tram either with part closures. There is currently no service between Sandilands and New Addington on the Tram.

The entrire Waterloo & City line is suspended due to a faulty train at Waterloo.
Passengers also face disruption on six other TfL lines. There severe delays on the Bakerloo, District and Hammersmith and City lines, and minor delays on the Circle and Metropolitan line (between Aldgate and Baker Street).
The Tram is closed between Sandilands and New Addington.
Transport for London is spending almost £2m on a three-year contract to operate a cycle shuttle service through the new Silvertown tunnel. It will run every 12 minutes.

Bermondsey station has re-opened.
Disruptions on the Metropolitan line has resulted in crowding at station platforms, according to one TfL passenger.
Motorists face serious delays on the A13 due to a broken down vehicle.
The A1261 Aspen Way Westbound at the junction of A1206 Prestons Road – Lane is closed.
TfL has advised that traffic is slow on approach with tailbacks into East India Dock Tunnel.
The Hammersmith & City line is experiencing severe delays due to an earlier obstruction on the track.
Passengers travelling via the Hammersmith & City or District line have been advised that tickets are being accepted on C2C, London Overground and London buses.
The District line is experiencing severe delays due to an earlier obstruction on the track at Upton Park.
There are minor delays on the Circle line due to an obstruction on the track at Upton Park.
There are also delays and closures on the Bakerloo, District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Tram lines. There is a good service on all other lines.
The Metropolitan line now resumes good service following minor delays between Wembley Park and Amersham, Chesham, Watford due to a signal failure at Northwood.
Piccadilly line is facing severe delays between Acton Town and Uxbridge due to an earlier points failure at Ealing Common.
