Dense Fog Advisory in Effect for Houston Until 9 AM—Hazardous Travel Conditions Expected – Country Herald

Houston, TX – A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. Tuesday, with visibility dropping below one mile in parts of south-central and southeast Texas. Drivers should use headlights, slow down, and allow extra distance between vehicles, as low visibility could make road conditions hazardous.
According to the National Weather Service, the advisory includes Houston, Galveston, Sugar Land, Pearland, Pasadena, and surrounding areas. Fog is expected to linger through mid-morning before clearing to partly sunny skies with a high of 77°F. Light south winds at 5-10 mph will bring mild conditions throughout the day.

Five-Day Houston Forecast: Warmer Days, Foggy Mornings
Tuesday Night: Expect patchy fog after 9 p.m., with increasing clouds and a low near 65°F. Light winds continue at 5-10 mph.
Wednesday: Areas of morning fog, clearing to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will climb to 78°F, with southeast winds at 5-10 mph.
Wednesday Night: Patchy fog returns after 9 p.m., with a low of 66°F. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy conditions.
Thursday: The warmest day of the week so far, with a high near 80°FPatchy fog clears by mid-morning, leaving mostly sunny skies.
Thursday Night: Some fog develops overnight, with a low near 66°F. Light winds persist.
Friday & Weekend Outlook: Morning fog remains possible Friday, but expect a drier, sunnier pattern into the weekend. Highs will stay in the upper 70s to near 80°F, with mild evenings.
Drivers should prepare for foggy conditions each morning through Thursday before a clearer weekend ahead.
