DFW AIRPORT, Texas (Jan. 24, 2025)
Starting Saturday, Jan. 25 through Wednesday, Jan. 29, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is implementing temporary road closures and lane reductions at various locations and times to support key construction activity. The work zones will primarily impact southbound traffic with one of the most significant impacts expected to be an overnight-to-midday lane reduction on South International Parkway from Tuesday evening into Wednesday afternoon. During that time, customers are encouraged to arrive to DFW from the south. For other closures, detours will be in place to support traffic movement.
The upcoming construction activity will support the placement of structural beams for the future bridge access into Terminal B as part of the ongoing work to transform access to Terminals A, B and C to right-hand exits. This grouping of closures has been strategically phased with project partners and airport stakeholders to take place during timeframes with the least impact to customers.
