BUFFALO, N.Y. — No commercial traffic is allowed into Canada due to a system timing issue, according to the Canadian Border Services Agency.
The Canadian Border Services Agency confirmed the issue is affecting the entire border.
Commercial traffic heading into the US is not impacted.
NITTEC cameras show a significant traffic buildup, consisting mostly of semi-trucks, on the I-190 North in Lewiston and Buffalo. Trucks near the Peace Bridge are being escorted to a staging area to help alleviate some of the congestion.
