Alaska Airlines to begin daily PDX flights to this major US city: What to know – Statesman Journal

Daily nonstop flights will soon be offered year-round between Oregon and Texas.
Alaska Airlines will begin offering flights between Portland International Airport (PDX) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston starting May 15.
The airline will also add a twice-daily flight between Eugene and Portland starting May 15.
Here’s what to know about the new flights between Portland and Houston.
Daily, one-way flights between PDX to IAH will be available from as low as $135, according to the Alaska Airlines website.
Saver, main, premium and first-class tickets are offered for each flight and range in price.
The daily flight will depart PDX at 10:30 a.m. with an approximate flight time of 4 hours and 24 minutes, arriving at IAH by 4:54 p.m.
For travelers coming from Houston to Portland, the flight will depart IAH at 5:54 p.m. with an approximate flight time of 4 hours and 55 minutes, arriving at PDX by 8:49 p.m.
