Happy Halloweekend, travelers! This week was chock full of new airline route announcements, as well as a bunch of exciting news out of Dollywood.
Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel in Nashville also announced it started taking reservations this week, and it’s set to open in Spring 2026. The hotel features 245 Dolly-inspired rooms, two live performance venues and an exhibit about the country music icon’s life.
Delta Air Lines announced new flights to the Middle East
Frontier Airlines said it would boost its service to New Orleans for Mardi Gras
Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines consolidated under a single operating certificate, meaning pilots will no longer use the Hawaiian callsign
American Airlines announced its Airbus A321XLR’s first international destination will be Edinburgh
United Airlines said it will add new flights from San Francisco next summer (didn’t I tell you? Chock full of airline route announcements this week!)
Southwest Airlines unveiled a new co-branded debit card
Sun Country Airlines started serving Tulsa
Tulsa Airport also announced that travelers will be able to use the Aira ASL app for on-demand sign language interpretation in the airport starting Nov. 1.
Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar popup will reopen in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and come to Miami for the first time on Nov. 13
Dollywood announced new attractions and events for its 41st season, which begins on March 13. Season passes go on sale Nov. 1
