With the grand openings of Pei Wei and Chick-fil-A near Gate 1, passengers can enjoy bold Asian flavors or classic comfort food before takeoff. These new additions mark a significant milestone in Hobby Airport’s multi-phase dining expansion, which is transforming the culinary landscape with a mix of beloved national brands and local favorites. Whether craving a quick bite or a leisurely meal, visitors can now indulge in high-quality food choices that enhance their journey from start to finish.

Exciting Additions to the West Food Court

Travelers visiting North America’s only five-star airport now have even more dining options before takeoff. Two brand-new restaurants have opened in the recently unveiled West Food Court near Gate 1, elevating the airport’s culinary experience.

Pei Wei Brings Bold Asian Flavors

Pei Wei serves up a delicious selection of Asian-inspired dishes, perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Their diverse menu caters to a wide range of tastes, ensuring every traveler finds something satisfying.

Chick-fil-A Opens in a Fresh Location

Chick-fil-A, a well-loved favorite among travelers, has relocated to the West Food Court in HOU. Guests can enjoy the same iconic chicken sandwiches and waffle fries at the new location. The former Chick-fil-A space will soon transform into Common Bond, bringing even more exciting options for visitors.

Hobby Airport Completes Phase 2 of Expansion

With these new additions, Hobby Airport has successfully completed Phase 2 of its ongoing, multi-phase concessions improvement project. In 2023, the Houston City Council approved two major food and beverage contracts, paving the way for Houston Airports to redefine airport dining. This initiative blends local favorites with nationally recognized brands, creating a dynamic and memorable food scene.

Looking ahead, Phase 3 will bring even more variety to travelers, featuring Common Bond, Yard House, SpindleTap Brewery, and Killen’s Barbecue. The final phase, Phase 4, will add a diverse mix of local and national favorites, including Landry’s Seafood Kitchen, Dish Society, Pink’s Pizza, Jersey Mike’s, and Wendy’s. With each phase, Hobby Airport continues to elevate its dining experience, offering travelers a greater selection of high-quality food options.
