A handful of the world’s most incredible travel destinations could be underwater by 2050 due to the ongoing impact of global warming and rising sea levels.
Locations at risk of sinking into the ocean as sea levels rise include small islands, thriving metropolises, beloved ancient wonders, and some of the most visited tourist destinations across the globe.
According to a list compiled by LoveExploring, popular sites like London, England, Bankok, Thailand, Alexandria, Egypt, and New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, could be totally submerged in water in the next 25 years.
Other locations that made the list included the Florida Keys, New York City, San Francisco Bay, Western Australia, United Arab Emirates, Mozambique, Africa, Italy’s Adriatic Coast, Andalusia, Spain, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to name only a few.
