PESSOA has run five times at this course since Boxing Day without his mark changing. Two seconds and two fourths in that time show he is in consistent form and can finally get his head in front today.
If the six-year-old gelding, a son of Ardad, can break well from stall one, he will be able to cherry-pick his position in the race and utilise his Top Speed rating of 62 – the joint-second best in the field.
