Cathay Pacific is excited to introduce a new direct flight route connecting Hong Kong and Rome, further expanding its European network and bringing the airline closer to its goal of serving 100 global destinations by 2025.
Starting 5 June 2025, the airline will offer a three-times-weekly summer seasonal service between Hong Kong and Rome. This addition enhances Cathay Pacific’s presence in Italy, complementing its existing route to Milan, which currently operates five times per week and will increase to daily flights during the summer.
Rome, a city steeped in history and culture, offers travelers the chance to explore its world-famous landmarks, ancient ruins, and artistic treasures. The timing of Cathay Pacific’s return aligns with the Catholic Church’s 2025 Year of Jubilee, a significant event featuring numerous celebrations in Vatican City and throughout Rome, making it an ideal time for visitors to experience the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

Business Class passengers can enjoy fully flat beds, Premium Economy offers spacious seating for extra comfort, and Economy Class provides a relaxing journey for all travelers.
