If you’re a business owner, having a dedicated business credit card can be a helpful way to manage your finances. The Chase Ink suite of business credit cards includes four card options, each offering distinct benefits and rewards.
Read on to learn about the Chase Ink business card options and their benefits to help determine whether one would work well for your business.
Ink business credit cards are designed to be used for business expenses. They offer the ability to earn rewards on purchases (reward rates vary by card), travel protection benefits, purchase protection and tools to help streamline expense tracking.
Like personal credit cards, business credit cards allow cardmembers to access credit with a set limit and APR terms. Business owners may find credit cards useful for keeping business and personal finances separate, which could simplify bookkeeping and expense management.
Chase offers the following suite of Ink business cards:
Each Ink credit card is a rewards card, meaning purchases will earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points. These points can be redeemed through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal.
The rate at which each card earns rewards varies. All Ink cards earn rewards on purchases, but some cards offer the ability to earn accelerated rewards in select categories:
Chase Ultimate Rewards points can be redeemed for travel, cash back, gift certificates, merchandise and more. The Ink Business Preferred card also allows cardmembers to transfer their points to several airlines and hotel partner brands.
Note that Ultimate Rewards don’t expire provided your account is open and in good standing.
Cardmember benefits vary by Ink card. However, all Ink credit cards provide employee cards, travel protection benefits and purchase protection.
Ink cards also provide a range of travel protection benefits, which may include:
While all Ink cards provide travel protection benefits, coverage varies by card. You may want to refer to each card’s Guide to Benefits for details about specific coverage and protections associated with the card.
Chase Ink business cards also offer forms of purchase protection, including Extended Warranty Protection and Purchase Protection that extends to eligible purchases and warranties. In addition, the Ink Business Preferred and Ink Business Premier cards offer Cell Phone Coverage as a cardmember benefit.
The right credit card for your business will vary depending on how you use your card and what you want to get out of it. When evaluating your card option, you may want to consider:
Each Ink business credit card offers different reward earning opportunities and benefits. Reviewing the rewards structure and benefits associated with each card may help you determine which card is the best option for your business.
You may also want to consider the card’s eligibility requirements and annual fees when evaluating your options. Whether you travel frequently for business or simply want consistent cash back on everyday business purchases, you may be able to find an Ink card to accommodate your business needs.
