Hotelier Avi Brosh’s Palisociety continues its reign in Los Angeles with the arrival of the city’s ninth property, The Hôtel Lili. The intimate, design-savvy escape is the brand’s first to land in the bustling city of Beverly Hills, and the concept itself is entirely new for the star-studded area, stacked with hotels of high-gloss opulence. “We focused on mood, texture and storytelling,” explains Brosh of the brand’s latest addition. “The hotel feels residential, layered and a little mysterious— more urbane luxury than flashy showpiece,” with wood flooring, enveloping draperies and hues of warm camel, mustard and orange. Housed within a 1939-constructed private residence, the groundwork was already laid—and Brosh made strides to preserve the proportions, architecture and sense of neighborhood while making the stay appealing to the modern-day guest through “updated finishes, styling, lighting, music and brand,” he adds. “It’s not a period piece; it’s a continuation of the story.” With only 44 rooms within its striped-and-wallpapered atmosphere, “we get to know our guests, not just their names, but their movements,” says Brosh. Privacy—if preferred—is respected, but there’s something magical and old-timey about intuitive service and recognizing a face at the bar the next morning, “and the hotel starts to feel like a private club or a well-kept secret,” he hints. On that note, The Bar is anticipated to become Beverly Hills’ “IYKYK” social scene centered on conversation and collaboration. “We imagine it as a cross-section of locals who want something less obvious, and guests who’ve just discovered their new favorite aperitif bar,” chimes Brosh. Regardless of the reason you find yourself checking in—or out—at The Hôtel Lili, the Palisociety founder and CEO hopes you’ll feel instantly “welcomed, inspired and intrigued.”

The latest LXR Hotels & Resorts accommodation is making its cameo—tucked right off the lively pulse of Rodeo Drive. The 138-room concept brings fresh, yet upscale digs to the revered roster of glamorous hotel giants in the same area. “Luxury in Beverly Hills today is about intention and discretion,” states Sonesh Mool, general manager of Cameo Beverly Hills. “At Cameo, we focus on privacy, thoughtful design and highly personalized service.” The interiors are a shining star of the property, where “the design team curated a collection of primarily California-based artists—many of them rooted in Los Angeles—which immediately grounds the hotel in its setting,” continues Mool. This comes to life through textural, handcrafted elements, including ceramic and terrazzo touches that add warmth and tactility. Within the property, guests will also discover a private cabana-clad pool deck, the panoramic 12th-story Starlight ballroom, the lobby lounge and bar, Silhouette, and restaurant concept, Zampo, which vibrantly combines Peruvian flavors with upscale elegance. “At Zampo, you see that balance in the contrast between delicate crudos and bold mains, alongside classic Peruvian dishes like Lomo Saltado that anchor the menu in tradition while still feeling right for Beverly Hills.” Beyond stellar cuisine and plush accommodations that welcome all-day lounging and lingering, Cameo brings the adventure with the bespoke Cameo to Catalina experience for those who want to make the trip out of L.A. Proper. “Cameo to Catalina is designed as a day trip within a larger stay—an opportunity to step away from the city, get out on the water and explore a side of Southern California that feels unexpected,” notes the general manager. At the end of the day, “I want guests to feel truly seen and cared for,” Mool candidly admits. “My hope is that they leave [Cameo] feeling that they experienced a more intimate, stylish and personal version of Los Angeles.”

Staying in the heart of the action has never been more literal than with the arrival of The Anthem Hotel—sitting at the intersection of SoFi Stadium, Intuit Dome, Kia Forum and YouTube Theater. Part of the Hilton hotel family through the Tapestry Collection portfolio, the 179 total rooms and suites are appointed for comfort and West Coast sensibility. “Sustainable materials add a modern, elevated touch, while practical comforts ensure guests can seamlessly transition from work to a late-night show or early kickoff,” adds The Anthem Hotel’s general manager, Stephen Chavez. After all, when you’re staying here, you’re practically given a front-row seat to the biggest sports and entertainment happenings the area has to offer. “It makes the hotel feel like part of the event,” as Chavez simply puts it. Similarly, “the hotel is rolling out event-driven programming tied to major games, concerts and global moments, from themed takeovers and watch parties to special activations that align with what’s happening next door,” Chavez shares. “Add to that, its location is just 10 minutes from LAX and 20 minutes from the beach,” which both seasoned Angelenos and L.A. traffic novices can certainly appreciate!
