Saratoga Springs, NY (WRGB) — Saratoga Springs is back in the running for a national summer travel honor after earning a top-five finish in USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards in 2025.
Saratoga Springs, N.Y., has been nominated for USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Summer Travel Destination, an honor that spotlights places known for unforgettable warm-weather getaways fueled by culture, outdoor recreation, entertainment and family-friendly experiences.
Voting is open from Monday, April 13 at noon EDT through Monday, May 11 at 11:59 a.m. EDT. Supporters can vote for Saratoga Springs once per day until voting closes on Monday, May 11 at 11:59 a.m. EDT. The top 10 winners will be announced on Wednesday, May 20 at noon.
The nomination comes as Saratoga Springs looks to build on a strong 2025 showing, when it ranked No. 4 in USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Summer Travel Destination and was the only New York destination to make the final Top 10 list.
Summer in Saratoga Springs is billed as a quintessential Upstate New York getaway, mixing signature events with outdoor adventure and a lively downtown scene. Highlights include the Saratoga Race Course, performances at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, boating on Saratoga Lake and strolling Broadway, along with the city’s blend of racing tradition, arts and culture, outdoor recreation, dining and shopping.
