Royal Caribbean is making modifications to its upcoming itineraries for the Spectrum of the Seas. In the line’s continued flexibility for itinerary planning new ports of call will be added. After the previous changes for December 2025 , the cruise line is replacing certain Japanese destinations with South Korea for select sailings from Shanghai for May 2026 to April 2027.
Due to the current state of travel and political climate, Royal Caribbean has removed travel to Japanese ports such as Okinawa, Fukuoka, Nagasaki, and Kagoshima. Instead, the itinerary will include ports of call for South Korea such as Jeju, Busan, Incheon, and Yeosu.
