BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Travel Ban for long tandem combination vehicles (LCV) has been lifted Monday by the NYS Thruway Authority.

A statewide State of Emergency, which was issued by Governor Kathy Hochul on Friday, is still in effect.
A Travel Advisory for Genesee County and Wyoming County, and the City of Buffalo has been canceled as of Monday morning.
A Travel Advisory has been issued for Chautauqua County starting at 2:00pm Sunday and lasting until Tuesday, January 27 at 5:00 a.m. Residents are encouraged to avoid non-essential travel.
A Travel Advisory has been issued for the City of Dunkirk, effective at 2:00pm Sunday until lifted. Travel in the city is “strongly discouraged,” city officials said in a statement.
The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office has lifted their travel advisory as of Monday afternoon.
Roads are not closed during a Travel Advisory, but unnecessary travel is discouraged.
