London Overground services halted as firefighters tackle huge blaze – live updates – standard.co.uk

Several London train services remain disrupted as firefighters continue to tackle a blaze in Chalk Farm.
Fire engines are now leaving the site of the fire on Regent’s Park Road, but around 30 firefighters remain on scene.
The blaze began at a commercial property, and a neighbouring yoga studio has also been affected, according to the London Fire Brigade. Disruption on nearby rail lines is expected to continue until 4 pm.
Services on Avanti West Coast, London Northwestern Railway, London Overground, and Southern are disrupted.
The Overground’s Lioness and Mildmay lines are currently facing severe delays.

Live updates
The London Fire Brigade has told The Standard that the Primrose Hill footbridge is still closed to the public.
The service also added that the road was closed, despite the fire being under control.
It said: “Regent’s Park Road remains closed at the junction with Haverstock Hill.”
Rail services were originally expected to be disrupted until 4pm today.
However, National Rail has shared another update.
Many services will be out of action until the later time of 5.15pm, affecting commuters.
It said there is “major disruption” between Clapham Junction / London Euston and Watford Junction.
There are also disruptions on Mildmay line, Lioness line and Suffragette line services expected until 5.15pm.
A social media user showed the chaos at Euston Station a few hours ago.
The broadcaster Edward Adoo who hosts various BBC radio shows has shared a tribute to the area that was on fire earlier today.
In a post on X, he said: “A part of my childhood. Fire at Primrose Hill Station now a commercial building.”
Fire engines are now leaving the affected site in Chalk Farm, but around 30 firefighters remain on scene as major disruption is expected to continue until 4pm.
National Rail has suggested that the disruption at London Euston is expected to continue until 4pm in a recent social media post.
The Bakerloo line is now providing a good service.
Sahna yoga in Chalk Farm has announced in a statement that all classes for today and tomorrow have been cancelled, and that no one has been injured.
The Suffragette line is now providing a good service.
