Police have issued a warning over "extremely poor" driving conditions and schools have been shut on Thursday as snow has fallen on Wales. There are reports of heavy snow in Pembrokeshire and other parts of west Wales.
Dyfed Powys Police are asking drivers in Cardigan to only travel if their journey is necessary due to hazards in the area. Traffic Wales says there is also an issue on the A487 between Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
In Carmarthenshire, the A40 westbound was closed, due to an accident from the B4312 (Johnstown) to the B4298 (Bancyfelin). A power cut has also taken place in the SA33 area. You can read about all the disruption on the roads around Wales here.
A points failure at Whitland blocked train lines, causing some services to be cancelled, delayed or revised.
In Pembrokeshire, 31 schools have been closed as a result of the conditions, and 13 have been closed in Carmarthenshire.

Pwll County Primary School on School Road, Pwll, Llanelli, SA15 4AL will remain closed tomorrow due to its heating system not working.
A spokesperson for Carmarthenshire Council said: "There has been a further delay with the parts needed to fix the system, an engineer is now expected on site on Friday 21/11/25. The school will keep parents updated via Class Dojo."
At this time, all other schools in the district are set to be open as normal on Friday.

Tomorrow's conditions will be similar in terms of temperature according to the Met Office, though the icy winds are set to ease.
Their forecast for Friday is as follows: "Showers continuing to fade. Turning increasingly cloudy from the west through the afternoon, as a band of rain pushes eastwards overnight. Milder air building in and winds easing. Maximum temperature 7 °C."
Weather maps show the minimum temperature will be 0°C.
The Met Office has forecast the weather for Wales tonight.
It writes on its website: "Remaining clear and dry in the east, and showers gradually easing in the west, though the odd shower will persist.
"Cold with an overnight frost and icy stretches.
"Minimum temperature -3 °C.
Traffic Wales has issued a warning over poor driving conditions in two parts of Wales.
It says: "The A487 between Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire is becoming difficult to navigate due to ice and snow.
"Take extra care in the area."

National Grid is dealing with power cuts in Carmarthenshire.
A statement from National Grid read: "Engineers have isolated a fault in Carmarthen to Newcastle Emlyn SA38 and estimate to restore supplies by 1pm.
"However, due to adverse weather conditions in west Wales, currently engineers are dealing with several separate incidents so get in touch if you have a power cut."
There's delays of up to 30 minutes and some cancellations on Transport for Wales services between Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock, between Carmarthen and Milford Haven and between Carmarthen and Fishguard Harbour due to the points failure at Whitland.

In Flintshire, the A55 eastbound is closed, with long delays, due to accident from junction 37 Whitley Drive (Broughton Shopping Park, Bretton) to junction 38 A483 Wrexham Road (Posthouse roundabout, Belgrave).
The A55 eastbound is partially blocked, with slow traffic, due to an accident at junction eight A5025 (Llanfair P.g.).
In Pembrokeshire, the A478 is closed due to snow in both directions between Broom Lane (Begelly) and Mill Pond Road (Narberth).
The following schools have been closed in Carmarthenshire.
Due to a points failure at Whitland some train lines are blocked.
Train services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 12 noon.
The routes affected are between Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock / Milford Haven / Fishguard Harbour.
In Carmarthenshire, the A477 has been closed in both directions due to recovery work and earlier bad weather conditions between Llanddowror turn off (Llanddowror) and Red Roses turn off (Red Roses).
A power cut has taken place in Carmarthen.
National Grid says engineers are working in the SA33 postcode area and estimate to restore all supplies by 9am.
It offers its apologies for any inconvenience.
A points failure at Cadoxton means that all lines are blocked.
As a result, trains running between Bridgend and Cardiff Central may be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
Trains running between Barry Island and Cardiff Central may also be cancelled, delayed or revised due to this disruption. However, trains running between Penarth and Cardiff Central are not affected by this disruption.
Disruption is expected until 9am.

The Met Office has forecast the weather for Wales today.
It writes on its website: "A chilly start with widespread frost and ice.
"Largely fine and dry in the east, with plenty of sunny intervals.
"Showers persist in the west, wintry at times, with further sleet and snow expected, particularly on hills.
"Brisk northerly winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C."
Both carriageways of the A55 between junctions four and five was "white due to snow" on Wednesday evening.
North Wales Police asked drivers to take care when driving and drive to weather conditions.
But it didn't stop two crashes taking place there.
Traffic Wales reported the first incident between the junctions for Star and Gaerwen.
It saw the road closed in both directions before one lane was later reopened eastbounds.
The expressway was then hit by snowfall making driving treacherous on parts of Anglesey.
This was followed by a second collision westbound between the junctions for RAF Valley and Valley.
Police have asked the public to "avoid the area" of a collision.
A statement from North Wales Police read: "Due to a road traffic collision the A5 between Llidiart y Parc and Glyndyfrdwy is currently closed.
"Please avoid the area for the time being."
