Dominica Is Getting a Second Nonstop Flight From New York — Just in Time for Winter

If you haven’t been to Dominica, there’s something you need to know: it’s not really like anywhere else you’ve been in the Caribbean. There’s a wildness; a ruggedness; an air of adventure. There’s a reason, after all, it’s called the Nature Island. There’s this sneaking feeling that, wherever you go, Mother Nature is in charge. 
In recent years, more travelers have begun to discover this spectacularly beautiful island, thanks in part to its first-ever international flights — first, on American Airlines out of Miami, then on United Airlines earlier this year out of Newark.
